You choose a cut and size, pick a Christmas background and upload one clear photo of your dog. Our team cuts out your dog's head, adds a thin outline and repeats it across the fabric between the background's trees, snowflakes or plaid. Store dog-print pajamas show cartoon dogs; these show the dog who steals your spot on the couch.
We make the human side only: adult sizes, no pajamas for dogs and no kids' sizes. Your dog joins the photo in its own collar, which most dogs prefer anyway. Our post on matching pajamas with your dog has photo ideas.

Which Christmas background suits your dog's coat?
| Your dog | Best backgrounds | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Black or dark brown | Christmas Cream, Snowflake | A light background keeps the eyes and face visible |
| White or cream | Christmas, Red Plaid, Green Plaid | Red and plaid make a white face pop |
| Golden, red or tan | Green Plaid, Snowflake, Christmas Cream | Cool or soft colors frame a warm coat |
| Spotted or multicolor | Snowflake, Christmas Cream | A calm background lets the markings show |
Contrast between coat and background is the difference between a face you recognize across the room and a blur, because each printed face is fairly small.
Which dog Christmas pajamas come in which sizes?
- Pajama pants: women's and men's cuts, S–2XL, elastic waistband.

Who are dog Christmas pajamas a gift for?
Most people choose them as a Christmas gift for dog lovers, and the reason is that the dog on the fabric is the real dog in the photo.
- Dog moms: every "dog mom" gift shows a stranger's dog. These show her dog.
- Dog dads: he's hard to shop for. Christmas pants with his dog get worn all winter.
- Cat lovers with a dog too: the cat won't sit still and nobody wants a pet left out. Add the cat to the same piece.
- Friends: the friend who has everything still doesn't have this. Ask someone at home for the photo.
- Families: someone always gets left out of the matching photo. Same dog on every adult's pajamas.
- Couples: store sets feel impersonal; matching pairs with the dog you share don't. See couples Christmas pajamas.
- Grandparents: they miss the grand-dog at the holidays. Bring him home on their pajamas.
- New puppy and rescue owners: the first Christmas goes by fast. Keep this year's face.
- Secret Santa shoppers: last-minute gifts end up generic. Order early instead.
- Someone who lost a dog: grief makes the season quiet. A favorite photo on soft pajamas is a gentle tribute in memory of that dog.
- Multi-dog homes: one dog always gets left out. Up to five pets per piece.
- You: tired of buying for everyone else? Treat yourself; your dog already thinks it's your best gift.
