What is a custom dog shirt?

A custom dog shirt is a T-shirt printed with one particular pet, taken from a photo you send. Breed doesn't matter, because the print comes from your picture rather than stock art, so a mixed breed with one floppy ear or a gray-muzzled senior looks like itself. That's the difference from a generic breed tee, where every buyer gets the same dog.

Face tee or photo tee: which custom dog T-shirt suits your photo?

Both designs use the same shirt, sizes and printing. The difference is how your photo is used, so let the photo you have decide.

Choose the dog face shirt when the expression is the star: the head tilt, the tongue, the ears. Choose the photo tee when you want a dog picture on a shirt with their name.

How do custom dog shirts for humans fit?

The 3001 is a unisex tee. Here are the published measurements in inches. "Bust" is listed as the supplier publishes it: chest width measured flat, doubled.

Letter sizes vary between brands, so compare numbers. Lay a T-shirt that fits you well flat, measure straight across the chest just below the sleeves, double it, and match it to the bust column. For an oversized look, many people go one size up. Our size guide has more help.

What photo makes the best personalized dog shirt?

Printing enlarges whatever you send, so a close photo where your pet's head fills most of the frame is the safest choice.

• Eyes and nose in sharp focus, with no motion blur.
• The whole head in frame, ears to chin, with nothing covering the face.
• Daylight on the face, not a bright window behind your pet.
• The original file, not a screenshot or a copy sent through a messaging app.
• No heavy filters or portrait-mode blur, and one pet per photo.

If the product page offers a shirt color, pick one that contrasts with your pet's coat: a black dog can disappear into a dark shirt and a white dog into a light one.
