My heeler is red, not blue. Does that work?
It does. The blue-speckled dog in our photos is just an example, and red heelers, mottled coats and mixes print just as well from a clear photo.
How do I photograph a dog who will not hold still?
Use burst mode, hold a treat just above the lens so the eyes look at the camera, and get down to the dog’s eye level. Pick the frame with both ears up and a sharp face.
Will the speckles come through in the print?
Yes, if the light is even. Soft daylight by a window beats harsh sun and deep shadow, which can turn speckles into blotches.
Can I add a second dog to the pants?

Is there a drawstring or are there pockets?
