Why it works
Sound familiar?
- He says he doesn’t need anything, every single year.
- Pajama sets for men are usually plain and forgettable.
- You aren’t sure he would wear something too fancy.
- You want the dog in the gift, not just a paw print.
He’ll wear the joke if the joke is his own dog.
A green buffalo check men’s set with his dog, for the family Christmas picture.
Gift for
Who is it for?
He is the dog dad who sends you the same dog video twice. He lives in shorts and a T-shirt at home and never buys pajamas for himself. You want a gift that is funny the first time and comfortable every time after.
Dog moms with a cabin-weekend guy
A dog mom planning a cabin weekend wants the whole crew in green check, dog included. Her pup’s face on the green and black plaid means he is not left out.
Outdoorsy cat dads and dog dads
An outdoorsy dog dad thinks pajamas are boring, but he already wears green plaid at camp. Same check, plus his pup, makes it his kind of sleepwear.
Cat lovers with a woodsy streak
Cat lovers often get gifts covered in cartoon cats. Forest green check with the real cat, cropped from a phone photo, looks grown-up instead of silly.
Gift buyer stuck on a friend
A friend who has everything has no pajamas with his dog on green plaid. Text his partner for a photo and this pajama set gift is sorted.
Families matching in green plaid
In many family photos dad ends up mismatched in whatever was clean. His green check with the shared pet makes the line-up whole, which means the photo finally looks planned.
Couples who cabin-hop
Anniversary trips feel generic when the gift is another sweater. Matching green check and the dog you rescued together turn the trip photo into a story.
Grandparents of a far-off grand-dog
Grandparents three states away miss the grand-dog and its trail-mud paws. Green plaid carrying that face warms every slow morning.
New dog owners after the first hike
The first hike with a new dog flashes by too fast to frame. Put that trail photo on the green check and keep the start of the story.
Shoppers for Christmas and birthdays
Last-minute Christmas shoppers grab the same red plaid as everyone else. As a Christmas gift, green check with his pet stands apart, and because nothing is printed before checkout, ordering ahead saves the stress.
In memory of a trail companion
Losing a dog who walked every trail with you makes the house feel empty. A favorite trail photo on green plaid holds them gently in memory.
Both dogs, one plaid
With both dogs at the fire pit, the older one tends to be left behind when gifts come out. Upload each face and both share the forest green check.
Treat yourself after a long week
Unsure about new pajamas for yourself? Green check, your pet, a lazy morning, just because.
Evergreen moments
Where the green check fits
Green plaid pajamas bring a woodsy holiday feel without the long sleeves.
- Gift opening on the couch with the dog helping
- Green plaid Christmas pajamas for the gift exchange with friends
- Lakeside picnics with a thermos and a bunch of grapes
- Saint Patrick’s Day breakfast at home
- Morning stretches by a big, bright window
- A gift for the guy whose favorite color is forest green
Green check, your pet
Your pet on the Green Plaid background
This listing features the Green Plaid background, a printed buffalo check of forest green and black squares. Your pet’s face, with a thin white outline, repeats in staggered rows across the shirt and the shorts, with full faces on the chest and none cut by the V-neck or buttons. The check is printed, not woven. Our photos show an example German shepherd, and you can pick any background in the options.
The details

Your pet, front and center
The faces are printed from your own photo, so it’s your dog or cat on the check, nobody else’s.

Jersey set
Shirt and shorts are 100% polyester jersey. Measurements can vary by about 5%; compare with the chart below.

A person crops your photo and emails you before production if it is too dark or blurry to print well.

Questions
Questions about this pajama set
What does the Green Plaid look like?
It’s a classic buffalo check: forest green squares alternating with black. As with most buffalo check pajamas, the pattern reads bold even from across the room.
Is it real plaid fabric?
It’s a printed check, not a woven one. The squares and the faces are printed together on every panel.
Are these different from the plaid pajamas men usually buy?
Yes. The check is classic, but the faces are your own pet’s, and it’s a short-sleeve shirt with shorts instead of long pants.
Can I use a cat photo?
Yes. Upload a clear photo of your cat with the whole head in frame, and we crop it the same way.
Can I put two pets on one set?
Yes. Choose the number of pets in the options, upload one photo of each, and both faces repeat across the check.
Can a couple match in green?
Yes, as long as both are adults. Order each piece with the same photo and the right size for each; see all styles in our pet face pajamas collection.
What size should I order?
S–2XL. Check the size chart above and compare it with a piece you already own. Custom pieces can’t be returned for a change of size, so measure first.
How long will it take to arrive?
Printing takes 2-4 business days, then shipping takes 2-9 business days to US addresses. Holidays can add 5-15 business days.
